Many mainline sewers have what we call protruding laterals, or taps that stick out passed the point of lateral and mainline connection, which can block flow in the mainline. As CIPP grows in the industry, tap cutting continues to rise alongside of it. For CIPP to cure properly, any protruding laterals must be cut so the inside of the mainline pipe is as smooth as can be and the liner lays as flat against the pipe as it can for optimal installation. Pace sends our CCTV camera in the pipe so every tap cut is monitored and completed to the best of our abilities.
